What is the meaning of Anaideia?
In ancient greek, Anaideia is the personification of unforgiveness and ruthlessness. To us, it serves as a perpetual reminder to trust our AI system and be ruthless about execution, especially when our models exude confidence while going against a strong market sentiment.
Why we do NOT hold BTC & ETH in our portfolio.
We trade BTC & ETH CME futures with up to 20% of the AUM, but we do not hold any in our crypto portfolio (up to 85%). Any investor can buy-and-hold BTC & ETH, while the added value of Anaideia is:
- 1. Market timing. (very important in the highly volatile altcoin market)
- 2. Fundamental analysis of Ethereum applications.
With ETH 2.0 bringing scalability to the ecosystem, our conviction is that the highest potential growth is in ERC20 tokens. We have carefully designed a dynamic portfolio that we believe will largely outperform BTC and ETH.
What is an altcoin / ERC20 token?
In this blog, "altcoins" refers to all cryptocurrencies except BTC and ETH. An ERC20 token is a token that leverages the security, availability and scalability of the Ethereum blockchain, and whose capabilities are defined in a Solidity smart-contracts.
When can I withdraw my investment?
The fund has a daily liquidity.
Subscribers can redeem their investment on any business day prior to 15:00 local Zurich time and receive their funds at the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculated the same day at midnight.
When is the best time to invest?
Here and now is the best time to invest in the Anaideia AMC, as we are getting closer to our entry point into the crypto market. Investing in the AMC before we make our entry guarantees getting the entry price of 1000$.
The entry into the market is the most important move of the year as it is one of the rare times where we trade 100% of the AUM at once. Our plan is to buy the end of the capitulation phase currently taking place on the altcoin market. We are confident that our system will generate a signal at the opportune moment, signaling the onset of a recovery and the emergence of a new market regime.
Why aren't we running High Frequency Trading strategies?
We hold a strong conviction that the crypto market is in a turnaround situation which will lead to a multi-year bull market. Crypto bull markets are typically characterized by large swings and high volatility in general. Therefore, we have divided our strategy into the three following strategies:
- 15% market neutral (Long/Short on BTC and ETH futures).
- 19% short term long only (weekly swings on altcoins).
- 66% medium term long only (monthly swings on altcoins).
What happens once the bull market strategy is done?
Within 2 to 3 years, we expect to completely terminate the current strategies. Once the market is pricing crypto assets with a narrative of mainstream adoption and that our AI system triggers the right signal, we will completely terminate the current strategy and move to a fundamentally different strategy.
The next strategy will be focusing on capital preservation (minimizing risk) while targeting a 20-50% of yearly returns. Including High Frequency Trading, interest rates arbitrage, option markets arbitrage, opportunistic and sophisticated option plays and likely some allocations to shorting the overall market.
